Lying quietly snuggled      
against your warmth      
wishing I had a poem      
at the ready to lovingly    
recite in your ear      
as Dawn approaches      
     
while the world about      
our Universe Home      
must wait to hear      
as dream filled night      
recedes and new day    
encroaches      
     
Simple verse    
about desires ...    
   
about needs ...    
   
about not being able to    
live without you ...    
     
but most importantly      
   
because you Love Poetry  
   
and you deserve such these  
todays and tomorrows
