The Fall of Ideals Ch. 2

Chapter 2

I climb back to my feet shaking my hurting arm as an older man approaches me.
Something inside of me is urging me to flee.
I flash a fake smile to give off an illusion of glee.
He better watch his words or I’ll leave him here as a pile of debris.
I’ll pretend to be thankful for these men saving me,
But honestly I just want them to go and let me be.

I tell the man to rise to his feet.
I have found myself in another fight for survival, this is not a relief.
I’m seriously beginning to feel fatigued.

I tell Glen to slowly move forward as I secretly pull out his gun from his pocket, it’s time to fight once again.
I slit Glens throat slowly to give his goons a good, long look,
An action that surely won’t be misunderstood.
I push is body to the ground as his goons run to his aid, death is going to fill the air today.
I unload a round into every goon,
then stand over their bodies completely consumed
with anger and hatred, I’m done playing nice.
It’s time to introduce them to a permanent night.

I shot four men dead as one cries out in pain.
His cries make me smile as my darkness I embrace.
I kneel down beside him and take off his pants.
I pull out my knife as he flashes me a disturbed glance.
I grab ahold of his dick and cut it off with one quick swipe.
Today is the day I truly earn my stripes.
The man cries out in agony and swears at me in vain.
No one said I was ever completely sane.
I cut both of his Achilles and leave him to die
as I continue moving forward with the vultures circling in the sky.
