Jesus is still my baby

How old you've gotten,
The beard you've grown,
How many years has it been,
That we've known?
Each other's tastes,
Each other's smells,
You bring me heaven,
I bring you hell.

You'll always be a baby to me-ay-ay.
You'll always be my baby, baby Jay-ay-ay.

Your father didn't approve,
But that's his loss,
That he doesn't appreciate,
What we did on the cross,
We've dealt with grief,
We've dealt with loss,
We paid our dues,
We paid the costs.

You'll always be a baby to me-ay-ay.
You'll always be my baby, baby Jay-ay-ay.

Jesus, you're my love, my only love.
You cling to me like a crucifix,
You fit on me like a glove,

I want you to know I love you to bits,
As pure and white as a Dove,
I ruffle your hair and play with your beard,
Every time I gaze above.

You'll always be a baby to me-ay-ay.
You'll always be my baby, baby Jay-ay-ay.
