Espresso Bean

When I wake
The dimples fall up on my face
It's a change;
the trees are blushing over August's grave
and I'm crashing again; got your sand mixed in my waves

So we roll:
washing in that cozy foam
Wrestling slow
We made an ocean with a morning glow
Sleep, it holds you, like the west coast holds me...

Lover, let me be
Your espresso bean
Bitter before sweet,
my darling, pour me

Outside it's 43
well, I am the best at warming
If your head is sore, poor thing,
boy, please, I'm your caffeine;
pour me out.

...
When you wake
to only sun, believin I'm shaking my faith
Well, I'm not
Lover mine, I'm singin, puttin the coffee on
Sippin my light,
wishing you would get inside
this lovely little kitchen so I
can rip you with my kisses
from those velcro bad dreams...

Lover, let me be
Your espresso bean
Bitter before sweet, my darling, pour me
Outside it's 43
Well, I am the best at warming
If your head is sore, poor thing,
boy please, I'm your caffeine to pour...

and that's the way I like it, easy-early in the mornin!
...
When I can break a good quiet just by shakin up your snorin!
ooh, I'm gonna make you love....
waking up:

...
Lover, let me be
Your espresso bean
Bitter before sweet, my darling, pour me!
California's teeth
are cuttin me enough to make me bleed
but baby, your specific lips are what I need
mumblin, "More, please,
more, please,
now."
