Abraham Disliked His Assignment to Sacrifice His Son Isaac

How much he was disgusted is shown by how ready he was to abandon that task.
When the angel told him to not slay Isaac,
Abraham jumped at the chance to be free -- free of the ordeal of killing his own son.
Free to sacrifice the ram caught in the thicket as a substitute.for Isaac.

In a similar way, having to countenance the story of Noah's ark and the global flood  that killed everybody not inside the ark, and having to say it's ok for God was doing it, -- it's almost as sickening as Abraham must have felt about sacrificing Isaac.

Shouldn't we follow in Abraham's footsteps by being quick to drop that heavy burden  --  now that an alternative account of God's judgment on sin is available ??!!

I am referring to the Black Sea Flood of 7000 years ago.
That flood was very much purely LOCAL in scope.
Which means God was not at all determined to wipe out the whole world !!!
Yes, the Black Sea Flood is like the angel that told Abraham, "Stop, don't do it !!"
But can we feel free, really free, to disown the world-wide Flood, the excessive wrath of the God of the Old
 Testament ??!!
Yes, for it was SCIENCE that discovered the underwater coastline running east and west.
Which means the Black Sea used to be about half the size it is today.
Science = "General Revelation," God's revelation of Himself to mankind.
According to the Dual Revelation doctrine, there are two revelations of God, by God.
Namely "Special Revelation," the Bible as the Word of God.
And, second, "General Revelation," the study of Nature, God's Creation.
For the Apostle Paul writes, "the invisible things of God, such as His power, are seen thru the things that God has made"(Romans 1.19-20).

But this General Revelation is equal to "the Word of God" for Paul puts it in that very position !! For he quotes Psalms 19.1-4 like this.
First, he asks, ''Have they not heard [the Word of God] ?? (Romans 10.16).
Then he answers, "Yes, for 'their words have gone out to the whole world'."
Whose words is Paul referring to, here??
Well, we turn to Psalms 19.1-4 to find out.
The line that precedes, "their words have gone out.." is "The heavens declare the glory of God."
So "their" refers to the heavens, the skies.'
So we can paraphrase Paul like this, "the words of the skies have gone out to the whole world."
He is indirectly calling the words of the skies, "the words of God."
By so doing, Paul raises the data we get from the skies (Nature) to equality with the (written) "Word of God," the Bible !!

My point is that this lifts the status of the data coming from the skies (or any part of Nature) to the level of an angel, even the angel who spoke to Abraham at Mt. Moriah.
In short, we really are authorized by God (thru Paul) to abandon the picture of God-as-Monster in the Noah's Ark story, substituting for it a much more accurate picture given to us in Christ.
