Frankenstein
She gathered up the masses,
stoked the fires of their torches
led them to the castle
to bring down the beast
They came
they conquered
they destroyed
the
wrong
monster

i like this one, lucifer :) the speaker remains wonderfully impartial throughout a very personal observation. proof that cooler heads do prevail (this in reference to you borders on oxymoronic tho).

on a less poetic note, the sheep mentality of that place is a curse, its why i no longer frequent it other than to keep in touch with friends abroad... there's far too much judgement, finger pointing & blaming when there's usually three sides to a story ...
a really good write.

Dearest Shadoe ( I will be changing your name soon)
I really appreciate your input ... especially since you are familiar with some of the history behind my story. I agree the environment of FetLife is very toxic!
On another note, although I value your opinion, I must disagree with your comment about “ cooler heads prevailing,” I don’t see that as an oxymoron, where I’m concerned ... actually find it quite fitting .... if I were dead, or in a coma ;)
Once again, I appreciate your visits

Lucifer 😈

dearest Wicked One
people so often jump to the wrong conclusion
taking in only surface appearances
& not getting to know the truth..
a deep write with few words
an art i've yet to master..
excellent..

My dear poetess,
Thank you for your words ... you were spot on.
When looking at a painting, one usually sees it through the eyes of the artist ... forgetting what the artist wants us to see, is only one perspective.
As always your visits, and your comments are appreciated. 🌹

there is deep irony here as well as pain
I can feel it i've re-read this several times..
I hope people will see who the real monster is in time
sadly by then it will likely be too late..
exceptional write..
love Raven

Thank you my dear Raven.
Sadly, your assumptions are correct ... too often people are judged guilty before having a chance to prove their innocence. My one consolation ... the person painting herself as the injured party, knows the truth.
Thank you for stopping by, and for feeling the sentiment behind this write 🌹
