A Love Spoken: Peter
I loved him like the sun loves the skies
Needed him just as the stars need the moon
And in the stormy weather, I loved him like the lightning to the surface earth
I felt myself floating and sailing on his love waves
Breathing and feeling the winds of mount Kili in the presence of he
I waited and waited,
In my past lives and somehow this one
Wounded and scorned by my not meant to bes
And for the first I felt warm, safe, invincible and free
I've been in love before,
Two times too many
But in all my loving, I loved him
And like seasons our days weren't so long
More nights than days really
But, we did all we could
Like the return of a season, he came to visit home
Home to a heart and mind that never left him
And like deja vu
The love forever rains
