I really dig part of that opening stanza  
"poise    
lips part to expose    
lemongrass breath"- i don't think i could ever get enough of the smell of lemongrass...priceless.

"Locked gaze defies earth's gravity    
which levitates    
heart to sun...mind to moon... " and Love locks us into its future tec tractor beam


"a chemical bond is formed "- this makes me think of a chemical imbalance and how perfect Love is not and how its great.

in the words of the great Leonard Cohen  from one of my favorite songs (4th verse)

Interesting to read. In the first paragraph I got a sense of opening up to an intimate partner.
Afterwards it felt like a therapeutic effect and finally a new beginning.
Nice sense of gaining knowledge and building something new.
