DOCTOR PRESCRIBED

Apathy or ailment
Difference unclear
By the tone in my voice
Perpetually dead

A bottle for this, a pill for that
A blind, gracious hand
Children know nothing
Doctor knows best

Help me

Ingested dread
Horrid marks on my skin
Doctor prescribed

Eyes, bewildered
Rash, from scratching
Screams, thrashing
Bleeding hallucination
Upon the carpet, vomit

The pinpricks and spots
The black spots are always there
Everywhere
I must remove them

Help

Mother, help me
I can't get them off
They crawl, they're alive
Doctor prescribed
