Crimsin Lover
Finding me in my shadows
Of disquiet,
creation,
and passion.
His gentle predator joins me
To fight
demons
By my side.
Helping to keep them from
Picking me apart like the
Crows do to a
Discarded carcass.
Inspiring me to write my
Affection for the sin
I find with you
In crimson ink; it
Bleeds from my mind, and
Drips onto the white sheets.
Refilling the ink in the mind
With your voice that
provides a sense of protection,
As if your arms are
Around my waist.
Causing the gentle predator
Inside of me to desire to
Fight your demons
Along with mine,
Because the minds residing inside
Each of our skulls is
Fragile and bleeding
Its crimson love.
I'm writing, to you my
Crimson lover,
Because the mind is a
Frail creature that bleeds.
My soul is singing to your
Gentle predator.

Yes it was written for a deeply special person.
Trust is a cautious thing for me, but I find its necessary for sanity.

Great poem, I love the emotions you invoke. Talking about love and relationships I can relate to their words of kindness refilling one's spirit like ink in a pen but also at times this too:
