Dream

You open the door and peek in. Gaze upon the mess I made. Blood pouring all over the floor chucks of skin missing. I look up sheepishly as your expression changes. I look back down at my mess, half clotted blood on the floor, I didn't know I could bleed so much. I expected to be passed out by now. You rush forward and take me in your arms, lifting me and sitting on my bed laying me in your lap. you look into my eyes, worry written all over your face as you ask what happened. I look down at my still bleeding cuts and missing chunks of skin. I'm not sure I say weakly I kind of lost it... I'm sorry. You hug me tight and assure me it's okay. You gently take my arm and start to lick my cuts, cleaning them carefully. I look down at the floor and see the chunks of skin I was missing as I vaguely remember clamping my teeth down onto my arm. I shake my head gasping. You look at me confused and worried, I shake my head and look down. When you are done you inspect my cuts and bandage them. You hold me and hug me close to you begging me to be more careful. Right after I agree you start coughing. I look at you worrying something happened. I see blood on your lips, and you smile weakly at me. You cough some more and start convulsing. I quickly move out of your lap and touch the side of your face. Are you okay? I ask frantically as you cough more blood. I start to freak out more and more as you keep coughing and convulsing. You lay down on your side and puke blood onto the floor. You look at me and whisper good bye. I scream and lay my head on your un-breathing chest as I start to sob.

I feel a shaking and open my eyes to find your face looming above mine. Are you alright? You ask looking freaked out and tired. I lean up and kiss you. I am now I say as I hug you tightly. Why were you screaming you ask. A bad dream I answer as I snuggle up to you. You hug me and stroke my hair as you rub my back. It's okay you mutter to me softly. I listen to your breathing and your rough tired voice as you sweetly reassure me until I fall back asleep.
