Following Down
Flesh melting off bones
Skeletal form holds last bit of helpless life
Begging for guidance
Believing is all there's left to do
Pray upon heavens for mercy
Deceived into thinking
Selfish ways were forgiven
Raise my head I gaze up
Damned angels hold my hand
I follow their lead
Down the stairs into darkness
Bid farewell to my flightless wings
I tear them apart
Refresh self with newly found magic
