[ fAwL ] The Open Flame
---how it blazes brightly!
Candle spins in lighthouse
illuminating nightly;
lets those in darkness nearby
know shoreline is right over here
Why resist?
There's nothing to fear
and plenty of Love
to go 'round and 'round;
it pierces the mist
fills sky above with hope
that whatever is lost
can again be found
Attracting both
butterfly and moth
with higher vibration
Inviting moth and butterfly
cocooned and chrysalised
who desire to awaken

Someone once said that the beam from a lighthouse isn't affected by wind or rain. It remains steadfast through the storm. Your true self is like that. Nothing can ever harm you once you are consciously aware.
Our scars become lighthouses for other people who are headed to the same rocks we've hit, and pray they avoid the experience themselves. Love is not a Light to be hidden underneath a bushel, but should burn brightly in darkness and doubt.
This was deeply soothing as it was enlightening. I Love the inclusivity of both butterfly and moth. Light has no restrictions unto itself because it's Love, and gives freely to all who would open their eyes to see. Every creature, man or beast, will gravitate toward it in the end.
How beautiful to think we Have become such from a lifetime of scars. Thank You. This was a beautiful light to wake up to. 🌞

JohnnyBlaze, I was once lost at sea. True story. There was a lighthouse without a doubt, but there was more than this which is what it was all about. Something you summed up nicely. From the wheelhouse, mate.

i really like the first two stanzas taking me to a lighthouse and the shoreline

those last two stanzas
