Sculpting Clay Poetry - (inspired by SourMelon0313)

From first contact we sought warmth from the soul piercing cold
In harmony two heavy hearts battle to rise and un-break

Searching through shadows in the soul of their unified muse
Smiles sprout on sad faces in anticipation of unending mirth

Partaking of mirrored rainbows in sweet and tasteful sips
A prism of pastel colors washes down the pain of the past

As nourishment to sprouting seeds awakening they rise
With the sun's rays enlightening, darkness burns away

Two poets spill inkwells into their fresh flower bed
Creating blossoms that grew in an Eden of poetry

For such a Paradise to flourish beyond her gate
Shattered her image like the queen in Snow White

Chiseling away at a mountain of dry hardened clay
Finally realizing we had already fit each other's mold

As Nature injected her colors in waves of blissful serenity
No sculpting was needed to bond soul mates in unity
