before you could point me
my psychosis
and its gravity
lemme go
and grab my tea
lemongrass tinged
yet chemical free
my baptism
only highlighted
my libertine existence
they said androgynous
were the angels
and i were not one
you say my psychosis
is self inflicted
and the world
is doing its best
all the time
like i'm the hour hand
and it-the minutes
chasing me clockwise
to reach out
to me
i say yes
indeed
do feel the same
all the time
the world is out there
trying its best
to get me
to get to me

I could empathize with this pen from many angles my friend, you seem to have my own heart tied up in multiple directions. Excellently scribed to encompass a broader populace in this manner. I'm sure many will relate <3

perhaps, the recent spike
in ugly side of human nature
across the globe,
where unabashed attitudes
to the misunderstood
and the 'misfits' as they say
are being taken
as being the 'bold' thing to do, it's the answer for them.
Some faiths say Angels are neither male, nor female yet hold a special spiritual place.
Yet the humans that grapple with their gender identity as well as the genuises that call out societal evils both are maligned and cast as misfits and this is being cherished by populists everywhere.

Such an eloquent response! I appreciate the elaboration as I wouldn't presume to look too far into your personal intentions behind this pen.
However, the androgyny of angels in particular- such metaphor (appropriate & stunning!) did stand out to me as touching upon the struggles that some may experience with gender identity. This is but one other angle I could personally relate to, as such open self-exploration and inquisition was stifled in my own youth under a conventional small-town culture as I was raised in.
For both your appreciation of my remarks, and for also your own innate wisdoms herein expressed; worldy, sightly- I bow a nod of Namaste to you =)

You found my reply elaborate, that is a compliment for me. Well, personal intention was simple- to vent what i see/view/may be percieve as unjust. But before that, again i would say Katja's comp, was the trigger, the inspiration. As for your compliment about the metaphor, i am glad it was recieved exactly as i intended. That means some succes in conveying my views/thoughts/opinions/beliefs.
