Let Them Eat Cake
they roll around in their own filth
smiling with shit eating grins
they take from the poor to give to the rich
back ass wards robin hoods
I wonder about kids who are fighting
through the mud and through rain
seeing their mother/father crying
struggling to pay the bills with no relief
all our efforts seem pointless
when billionaires hold all the power
just remember, they can take your things
only you can let them take your heart
their biggest fear is a person who grows from dirt
fights through hell for everything they own
when a person like that faces injustice
they’ll fear not, for they are stronger
so I ask for all of you to just believe
believe that everything has its purpose
money can buy lots of things
not class, not love, not humanity
worth is not measured with material things
strength comes from within the soul
let those greedy pigs eat their cake
for every dog has its day
