The Beast of Grey

Feeling blue at The Blunderland
Alex pours another blast
His face floating in the barroom mirror
He drinks it slow to make it last

He recalls his Red Queen well
How she kissed him with her whip
Addressed him as her "pleasure pet"
Raised the lash, then let it rip

The denizens of that dreamland
Sent him on his blurry way
The Queen now prefers a different breed
Disdains a beast who's now long grey.
