I'm but a corpse, ready for the ceremony

I'm touching the stars
There's more life up here than there is Down there
The clouds are vast,
I'm just a dot
Swimming, I'm lost
In the ocean from where the rains pour
I could return with pictures
But would I ever wanna return?

Moon's glowly from a distance,
Lighting the way
Cold winds from behind,
Rubbing off my prints
I'm shaken by the silence
Sign of a time,
When all labor returns to dust

No longer drowning in my thoughts,
I'm a free soul now
A corpse, ready for the ceremony
"his sun rose 20 years ago
He was his only friend
So he wrote himself a tribute"
Cause otherwise who else would?
