[ fAwL ] Deep Blue Love
Every moment I spend
in suspension of Belief
surrounded by bouys
---reality checks signaling
I've gone too far out to sea
ignoring each warning sign
refusing to remain in shallows
exploring beyond this rigid
coral reef brain of mine
in the search for an oasis
where freedom to be ourselves
is nurtured, flourishes and grows
where You and I can be together
in this deep blue sea
Where You and I together
can simply be

I hate to expand beyond the beautiful and emotional depth of this Love poem to technicals of poetry; however, Coral reef brain! What an image!
There are many Beautiful examples of Love poetry from the depths of pain and anguish. And there are many Beautiful examples of Love poetry from lofty heights of happiness. However, there are very few of that encapsulates both depth and height of each; this is one.
You balance yearning and belief so perfectly, I see you weaving both above and beneath the surface together as a coastline, from height of joy to depth of hope and back. Each rise and fall stitching the horizon of Us tightly from Present to Future.
And while some depths are scary, as are heights, we are sustained by gills and wings. ♏🐟♒🐦
