have became
the bullies

but support them
   - at all costs!
bless them, too
   - for they're not using gas
   - on the people they've made-land-lost
   - at long last

now - here - in our time
   we can see them...
   filling camps with 'the others'...

      camps so big
      they used to be territories
      containing an entire people

now - here - in our time
they're arresting twelve-year-olds
in the middle of the night
   for throwing rocks
   at the soldiers
   who killed their relatives

this state - or any state -
   founded on a god -

   - any state founded on a god -

can not
and will not
   allow
   any other gods
   for the 'others' to follow

those 'other' adherents
   will be under the boot
forcing hate
   to take root
