Xmas ...again

I’m wading through the crap of crimble
parading my phony smile
the mince pies taste like plastic
polluting my inner child

While Santa’s abusing his reindeer
faking snow upon the hills
the malls are filled with zombies
maxing their credit card bills

And once again stressed families
panic to share a meal
Thank God it’s not that often
the pudding and goose ordeal

So as our belts begin to tighten
and we’re stuffed with Xmas cheer
would it not be so much nicer
to have it every other year?
