Would I be the abuser?
Her.
If we eloped?
Cope.
Would I know how a love would even work?
Jerk.
With my inexperience
Hence.
I wouldn't know how to treat her
War.
She would end up divorcing me
Free.
Would I know her boundaries?
Ugly.
Would we talk about consent?
Spent.
False rape allegation?
Friction.
I can't read socio-sexual cues
Used.
I would expect her to respect mine
Fine.
Afraid to tread where never before
Bored.

Self poem. More specifically, a deep self-reflection poem. The 'abuser' could be taken in several contexts. The 'abuser' could be any gender. The 'abuser' could not even be aware the other feels 'abused'. Just by their own ignorance and inexperience and lack of communication about relationships, the other could simply feel repressed or oppressed. The 'abuser' could also be a reflection into the darker part of the soul of the author himself. 🎵💳😀🚪😰🔪💊
