Oh! Woe is me!
You're as warm as the summer breeze.
For you, O’ democracy! I take a knee.
In my solitude, I walk along the sea.
blackened polluter
smog saluter
human obscene
Lifes purpose goes unseen
As my life is ripped apart at the seams
Oh! Woe is me!
I am soothing my heart within a shell,
but it echoes, merely static ocean.
Howling winds blow as my woes remain, unattended.
Life lived in vain
Me thinks "No one else like me be!"

For you, O’ democracy! I take a knee.
In my solitude, I walk along the sea.
