You're very welcomed. If the poem did nothing more than give cause to reflect, then I accomplished what I set out to do.

Why is that?

Well, I believe before we should love ourselves, there must be inner reasons, such as honesty and caring, the same attributes we seek in others comes to mind foremost. And yet, if we truly love another, then we should overlook their shortcomings and accept them without question. To do less, is nothing more than selfishness on our part.

I hope this helps clarify my feelings which underlie this piece.
