Stormy feelings
Crashing against deep thoughts
I’m molting;
Growing
Suddenly thrust into reality
As the cards come crashing down
Dislodged from their places in the sky
Time floats sideways as we slip through life
Disconnected we may fly away
Tense under the sensation
Of falling
When moving away from moments
We fight so hard
To hold on to.

That one line "as the cards come crashing down" seems to be the catalyst of severance for nothing of substance could ever flourish when built upon cards.
A gamble is a dead end for those who fail to recognise substance !
