Carmel lies

I love you and your caramel eyes
I love you, like feline to a ball of twine
I love you, like fine wine and white lines
I love you, like to pass the time watching you get ready every sunrise.

like rising tides of liquor make most people blind and wash away the sandy silhouettes of stumbling steps and hands that set

When only what I knew each night I would regret especially whoever was there present reminisced

Drowning in every drink until I’m drunk just to forget

Leading me on like every x to dig a grave because you made me spill my chest

Treasuring our moment as momentum slowly gathered from our falling hearts and unaware rock bottom was just dead ahead because I had you there and then...

For eternity I'll love you because forever and always never came or went.
Forever brittle sweet inside your love to me is caramelized.
