Entry Three

Perhaps it was said best
when she asked
"What about us;
what about all the happy ever-afters?"
Might have been when
she slapped truth at "them"
and questioned
all their spoken answers

Her black running jacket
with "Love you"
enbroidered accross her breast

I suppose the world
was meant to believe
the cotton
covered her heart
We all know
the song beat
physics
on a parchment
bereft of emotions
(Save for her tone)

I'd bet a fiver
the boardroom replays
that YouTube
in thick cigar-smoke
while decissions are made
while risk is calculated
while truth is concealed

Probably
find the word "them"
in the depth of colour;
painted in the wings of
a bitterfly

Or a butterfly
that has

just

come back

Two questions remain

Are we ready?
What about us?

-x-
