A Walk To Remember
You tell me you want to take a walk down the street
I tell you I’m here for you and I’ll walk with you
Together, I say, we’ll get through this, just hold on
I’m here to relieve the pain and make things better
So then, just maybe, you won’t have to walk very far
And then some day, you won’t have to walk it at all
Just come to me and trust that when I tell you it’s ok
It will be and you always have my support always
Maybe you will believe me and look at that road
Marked deep in scars and tell yourself you’re stronger
And that some paths are not worth traveling down
Because if you go too far, there is no coming back
I tell you I’m here for you and I’ll walk with you
Together, I say, we’ll get through this, just hold on
I’m here to relieve the pain and make things better
So then, just maybe, you won’t have to walk very far
And then some day, you won’t have to walk it at all
Just come to me and trust that when I tell you it’s ok
It will be and you always have my support always
Maybe you will believe me and look at that road
Marked deep in scars and tell yourself you’re stronger
And that some paths are not worth traveling down
Because if you go too far, there is no coming back
