RITES OF MISS DISSONANTIA
the empty ones
they do abhor her
the ancient ones
they do adore her
One hundred black candles flicker upon her tomb
The forest sleeps silent with haunted trees askew
Predatory eyes stare out from the frigid mists
As the feral hunger grasps like thy lover's kiss
Blood offerings placed upon her altar
Roses discarded where knights had sought her
Gore stained canopies, dioramas and galleries
The wolves howl gathered in mass at her gateway
As the dead arise from their freshly hewn graves
Unholy ground won't be desecrated
Cenobite revelers celebrated
Pagan rites of Miss Dissonantia
Ravens flock in murder to the tune of corpses
A midnight lullaby of bedeviled curses
I climbed on her throne wrought by funeral goblins
And held high the hammer then splintered her coffin
Her alabaster skin shown with the lunar light
Still so beautiful even though God did so spite
Her rule over the forests beasts and hearts of man
Envy reared its head across Heaven and the damned
Devils gather, nightly, 'fore her altar
Crucify the meat where knights had sought her
Gore stained canopies, dioramas and galleries
The wolves howl gathered in mass at her gateway
As the dead arise from their freshly hewn graves
The crown of sin won't be desecrated
Libertine revelers celebrated
Pagan rites of Miss Dissonantia
Body parts hacked and served up fresh
All hail The Queen of Chaos and Death
Black hair, dagger jaws take your breath
All hail The Queen of Chaos and Death
Body parts hacked and served up fresh
All hail The Queen of Chaos and Death
Black hair, dagger jaws take your breath
All hail The Queen of Chaos and Death
Darkness abides the will of my grieving laments
The sentence from her time as the chaste of pretense
Mortified by holy ones bred to dominate
Malice, her embrace, for those she chose to castrate
Devils gather, nightly, 'fore her altar
Crucify the meat where knights had sought her
Gore stained canopies, dioramas and galleries
The wolves howl gathered in mass at her gateway
As the dead arise from their freshly hewn graves
