Ancient Admiration

He came from the middle ages
even though his story hasnít been told
I understand his classical languages
related to his ancient warrior thought

I saw his image of a solitary swordsman
wearing a pure white flowing robe
emerge on the mountain range
seeming a doppelganger of a dove
diving down from the billowing clouds

I am hiding behind the veil of generations
looking at the ever changing dimensions
how he has transformed
by surging and heaving
wielding his royal blooded sword
waving his streamlined sleek sleeves

I saw the illusion
a phantom kaleidoscope of white
swirling, twirling and circling
left me awestruck admiration

I must have tracked him down for centuries
mountains, rivers, lakes and oceans
from nightís watch till dayís eye-catch
in my dreams and realities
from time to time I saw him
running on the water surface
flying on eaves and walking on walls

He must have had a broken heart
I saw the silence in his eyes
I saw the loneliness in his smiles
wish I was his sword mate
the one who believes in fate
the one always there, never late

Serving a cloak when itís cold
look up his magical sparkles
I know, I am a bit of a lovestruck fool
but itís the deepest echo of my soul

The doppelganger of a dove
my everlasting love
