Relax You

Lemme relax you, darling
Come over here and sit right in front of me
Let me detangle the knots in your hair
Grease your scalp with wax from honeybees
Lay your head in my lap
Tell me what's been on your mind
Let me get inside your head
And say the words your lips can't find
Tell me everything that hurts you
Let this be the place that you can complain
Let this be the world where you're bare
Where your feelings are open and plain
Lay your head on my chest
Hear the sound of my heartbeat
Let this be the place where dreams are shared
Without ever having to sleep
You can trust me
There's no price to where your head's laying
I accept your steady breathing, your warmth
That's the most sufficient payment
To see your eyes closed
And that you're no longer tense
The stress lines leave your face
And you look innocent
Leaves a satisfactory feeling
That resonates deep in my chest
The fact that I can relax you simply
Without having any sex
But if that's what you wanted
You could have it because I'm just trying to be the place
That you escape to and hide in
When the world won't give you any breaks...
