True Friend

I have a friend named Gigi
She's done so much for me
Taught me to rhyme my name
And how to play this game
She's sweet with her words
Her poems flow like guitar chords
With kindness in her heart
She taught me where to start
She's a breath of air
She writes with great flare
I hope to be more like her
Because her love is so pure
I'm lucky to call her my friend
Our friendship, I hope never ends
 
I wrote this poem for my dear friend Gigi.
She is kind and doesn't judge. She's a little silly, but so am I. She's a true best friend. I couldn't ask for a better one. Thank you Gigi for everything!
