Hidden keys in the key of flat
I found you at the end of your rope
I thought I would be your safe harbor
But I frightened you with my genuineness
I remember you when I didn’t know you
When you were lonely and needed a friend
I say I would not ask of you
I say I would be a breath of fresh air
Into your drawer you placed me
Like the other ornaments you collected
Where I could only get dusty
And due to my golden case
I got old but did not rust
Between your hurt, and damaged egg shell emotions
I still maintain I will not take from you
I will not keep giving either
Slow motion tragedy reigns in your orbit
For my star landed on your planet
And it was cold as death
Once there, I preferred the visions of sunshine
Again
And it never appeared while you were queen
It only gave an oasis of dissolution
If you need me
I can always be found
But this time- I know the outcome-
I thought I would be your safe harbor
But I frightened you with my genuineness
I remember you when I didn’t know you
When you were lonely and needed a friend
I say I would not ask of you
I say I would be a breath of fresh air
Into your drawer you placed me
Like the other ornaments you collected
Where I could only get dusty
And due to my golden case
I got old but did not rust
Between your hurt, and damaged egg shell emotions
I still maintain I will not take from you
I will not keep giving either
Slow motion tragedy reigns in your orbit
For my star landed on your planet
And it was cold as death
Once there, I preferred the visions of sunshine
Again
And it never appeared while you were queen
It only gave an oasis of dissolution
If you need me
