Massacre at OilFields

Held by the Arms
of Salvation
Drowned in the Sleep
of Redemption
but from the Distance
comes a Crimson roar
once again the Angel of Destruction
calls me into chaos of the WAR!

so i march into the Void
made from my own Pain
once again i feel the scent
of fresh Deadly Rain
a world made from Battlefields
and from rotten Blood
a world of Seas of Sorrows
Drowned in FLOOD!

Side by Side with walking Weapons
each ready to Kill
once so honoder Defenders!
now just Graves to Fill!
but in the Distance
Lightning strikes into the Ground
Death is singing
with Oil and Flames Dancing all AROUND!

Air is gently Crying
black, toxic Tears
made from future haunting
Memories
and we hear Voices
from our own Heads, from all Around!
the Angel of Destruction
Calls un into Heat of BATTLEGROUND!

so we March in the Formation
towards our Fate
ready and Loaded, fueled by Forein
Greed and Hate
Opened field under Closing skies
even Sun is soon to hide
so March with Me! we have to Kill!
the Other Ourselves on its Other SIDE!

Metal and Flesh
keeps on Screaming!
"Life" lost its Value
and its Meaning
the Black Eyed dances on the bullets
Blood begins to Boil
Dying under Burned tears
of Burned OIL!

and i Fall, i Lay
i'm Bleeding
and i watch Machine Guns
Spinning
and as we Die for Fates of Other
we are Dying for Fates of None
and as Death comes to Save us from this Darknes
i Hope she will Forgive us
ALL WE'VE DONE!

Note, i''ve put it under spiritual as "Metal Bird" (the lyric subject) clearly sees death not only as the end of life, but as God.

Note2: loosely inspired by "Funker vogt - arising hero"
