hush up,
don't tell
what's seen
you've heard
the screams
cover ears
closed eyes
silenced mouth
walk away
head down
don't look

violated dreams

now old
was new
quickly used

This poem helped me get a feel for the way my sister views certain situations. She's a schizophrenic and hates crowds. I really enjoy the way that each line was short, helping to set the mood, and the level of repetition you used to give the poem theme.
