PAGES OF NIHIL : ABANDONMENT

I spill myself
Into the barren wastes of doubt
As my pace in deceit
Pulls me further beneath
Away are those I trust
The vulture descends

Bid to breathe, I speak
And the snake coils
To claim what I've disposed of

Tired, weathered by lust
There is no passion inside
I maim your blessings
One lie at a time

A cold embrace
I could share my hate
And your decisions betray you
Beside the silent water

I open you once more
Before I say goodbye
