Ravens Of Humanity
The raven of dusk and dawn sits on the window sill of transgressions;
While looking at the vast field of hell and glory.
Cawing at the flashes of hope and sin;
Dancing on the breath of hatred and pride.
He sits there eyeing the humans walking around confused,
And he wonders why they're so consumed.
The raven of good and evil sits on the door frame of mercy;
As little drops of faith splashes the inner heart of humanity.
He waits for us to choose our paths,
And he laughs at our indecisive ways.
The raven of Heaven and Hell sits on the swing of love;
While facing the light and dark of this world.
He awaits the final straw of unbelief and sin,
And he sings the song of death between caws of hope.
The ravens sit there watching us in harmony and destruction.
They await the day of freedoms call,
And look on to the windmill of liberty in the hearts of love.
