SNAIL RACE (haiku)

I stepped on a snail
My body cringed at the sound
Life no longer bound

Gentle footsteps rest
blindly without consequence
to crush each of us

With snail's pace and eyes
slither as fast as you can
towards blind demise

Without love or hate
slowly delivering fate
Death waits for us all
