Calm
calm
I am not calm
I have not known peace
my veins rage against me
my fingers like claws
tear at my skin until I bleed
I scream and fight and destroy
I am a disaster in human form
a storm barely contained by flesh
I am not calm
I know not what it is
to sleep content
to sit still
to listen to the silence
because I have never known it
there is no quiet
there is no calm
I am a storm
a tempest
I am the sea
my calm is false
tempting
beckoning you closer to my surface
calm and gentle and so inviting
a lie
I am not calm
I am not gentle
I am not good
I will pull you under
I will drag you down
you will drown in the depths with me
I am not calm
I am not calm

I really enjoyed this! It's simple and flows very well. I think the repetiveness of I am is good as well. You could even try to do something more with it. "To listen to the silence because I have never known it." Is a great line.
