Diary Of A Romance Addict #2

Stormy and I were both in our mid-twenties when we met that summer afternoon in the ice cream section of our local grocery store. I was reaching for a pint of chocolate ice cream when I heard someone to my left say that that stuff was fattening. I turned and looked at him over my shopping cart. There he stood long and lean with straight blond hair and the most amazing looking brown eyes. He had the tanned good looks of a surfer. There he stood gaping at me.

"Do you think I need to worry about that?"I asked as his eyes moved shamelessly over my body.
"Not in the least," he replied breaking into a boyish grin.
"Then why don't you mind your own business?"
"Minding yours is more fun," he answered looking me straight in the face.

He winked at me and we both laughed simultaneously as he moved closer to me.
We introduced ourselves and spent a good while chatting about all kinds of things.
In the end, he asked me if I would go out with him sometime and I said that I would like that very much. We exchanged cell phone numbers, he winked at me, then after one long last look at me, he turned and pushing his shopping cart, he walked away.

Stay tuned. There is more to come.
