Into the night
Arrows Pierce the sky
They fall as I cry
Into the night
Hands hold me back
I can feel my heart crack
Into the night
Love is my battle
I hear the wind tattle
Into the night
His heart makes me strong
I start to sing along
Into the night
When the Moon is tall
I don't care at all
Into the night
His hands were warm
His love a storm
Into the night
My happiness it seemed
To be only when he gleamed
Into the night
I stopped the fight
Pushed away all the fright
Into the day

excellent - the repetition of the last line really works giving the poem a beat like a heartbeat - read it out loud a few times - would work well as a performance piece :-)
