Our Towers

These towers were not known much before the attacks of 9/11.
People just doing simple task that day are now if not most in heaven.

TV screens all had the same color that day.
It’s as if smoke was exiting televisions silent with no words to say.

A soft subject some will cry every year.
Brave men joined on arms to face more than angry fear.
American flags meant a lot before too but now stronger a better cheer.

God bless those lost and even found.
We will not stay on the ground.
In one way or the other we are home bound.
