Agreed. Perhaps we view the world as 'ugly' because we fail to see the beauty within ourselves. As soon as we can embrace our own flawed self and accept it for what it is, then (and only then) can we 'draw out' those images and express them on paper, canvas, brick walls, or the media of our choosing. And we can also begin to notice the beauty in others. Good write.

I love the way you put the action of a poet in a poetic form! This was inspirational as well, vivid and full of life for poets! Beautifully penned!

Yes, poetry has that effect on people, especially with the artist gene in their DNA! Each point of view will interpret a cloud as something more than water vapor floating in the sky. Some see a storm brewing, some see shade on a hot day, others see the heads of presidents while others see bunny rabbits. Thank you for reading me my dear Brenda!!! JJ
