I Forgot my Damn Watch This Morning
Rushing out the door
Late as usual
Got caught up in morning chaos
Job stuff you just have to do in a quiet place
The streets give no cover
It's a city of noise, sirens and barking
I wear a watch
I love wearing them
Have collected vintage and modern watches for years
My collection is eclectic and cool
To forget to wear a watch is troubling
It means a whole day of looking at my phone
Which I'm doing too much already for work
You get the story. same old same old
I feel naked without a watch
A man's only real jewelry
No pinkie rings or bracelets for this bloke
This isn't the 1980's you know
Quartz is easy
A mechanical watch better
I love winding my watch
Old school comfort not to be traded Mister

I want a Movado Triple Date but I it has to be at least 34 mm or bigger. A lot of them are quite small from the time period I love vintage watches .....

I as well wear a watch and so many ask me why because I have a phone...it's much quicker with a flick of the wrist...and I have to also say, the ticking helps me fall asleep...prerequisite for me...must be water resistant!

There's something comforting about old tried and true methods. And I still find a man with an old fashioned wristwatch sexy

Re: Re. I Forgot my Damn Watch This Morning
I love to wind my watch while i'm on the train or bus. I'm hoping someone is watching and wondering what I'm doing and then I get to explain that it's a wind-up. If they are young, they will say, Wow or something or just think I'm an old fud Thx sister Omega
Re. I Forgot my Damn Watch This Morning
This piece really gets me because I so love to wear watches, but can't. Something about my body chemistry. I digital watch stops working within a month or two. The only jewelry I can wear is solid gold. Maybe if I spent enough I could find a timepiece. This brings back a nostalgia, I forgot my watch decades ago:-(

My watch is my identity most days.
When I forget it, I feel lost most of the day
Thx
