WENDIGO : NIGHTMARE AMBIGUITY

'Mind's open eye, hollow socket
From which limbs erupt
Violently pulling the observer
Into white noise purgatory'

It was the most terrifying shriek
That disrupted her urge to escape
And that still life second
Was all that I needed
To smear the paint

My brush will paint red over her sky
A halo of devilry, like a premonition

Her footsteps hid my own
In the echoing corridors

Sleep, my dear
Have pleasant dreams

I emerged from the pit of her reverie
Like a well with no bottom
And the darkness came with me

Parched and remorseless, serpentine
Venom imbued, her thrashing ceased
Aroused by sweat, from her chin, hung
Releasing so gently upon my tongue

Claimed her, tamed her
With razor claws, maimed her
Suspended spinal constriction
A cure for her addiction

As a moth, ripped wings
The screaming sings
And the blood splatter rings
Burnt before the pain I bring

Flesh wires made taut
Pressure released, scorch the rifts
That the wound may clot
I struggle not to take a sip

My visage, ambiguous to you
As the words upon this page
Evoked a pleasant change in demeanor

Let me taste what is inside

Vision, mechanical
I sense the quiver of your lips
But stay conscious

It was a fantasy of mine
To curse you to never die
To rip out your ribs one at a time
And use them to impale you

Within nihilistic throes
Drowning
Left there in the hole
To plead for salvation
And only the trees heard them

It envelops you
The black waterfall
Slipping beneath your eyelids
So dark...
The images fade away
All that's left is pain
Welcome to my hell
