without empathetic love
is sadly pointless

David...to be sure--there can be ever soo much pleasure in the warm closeness of a shared hug...enfolded in the comforting strength of one another's embrace...cuddled closely--heart-beat, to heart beat. ( sigh) Your Haiku of hugs are creative segments of soothing joy! And your clever wordplay in "Petting" made me giggle!
