Bold and Italic

As I choose to share my voice, may it be heard in black and white
Accompanied by rhyme and insight that may shed light
Upon a canvas I begin to paint, full of bold and italic characters
Slumping side by side from foreign feelings, trying to let them register
With no sound remaining but whats in their flesh, a trumpeting rise bouncing in their chest
Listening closely with each stuttered breath, teedering the onset of cardiac arrest
In a landscape devoid of natural complexion, with such complexity it becomes transparent
Through the foreground focus of you and I; bold and italic, made solely by instant connection
A pure subject; candid affection, stares endless in eachothers direction

So perfect, the blush rolls from my pen, as I paint their cheeks; this dream in me
The here and we, just look and see, in this memory, the dream I breathe
A vivid world within their eyes, captured stunningly these fireflies
A budding love now on the rise, a shocking surprise to be revitalized
As they shake with feeling of each stuttered breathe, the syncing beat drumming their chest
The world around them fades from focus, with eyes locked tight they take no notice
That they're the only ones this canvas holds, this story made picture of sweet italic and bold
With hands clutched tight as their story unfolds, they know they're each others entire world
As they move to touch each others lips, with slickening palms felt within their grips
A stuttered heartbeat and hastened breaths, as I draw this dream that never rests
