i waited
for you
and
there you are
my ink
unspilled
for tomorrow
to flow
or overflow
dear ink
you need weight
of the emotions
and those
will bring
their own glow
but that
is beside the point
it is
whether
you can handle
that weight?
and
will you too
part ways
when you hit
the surface?
worry not
for the emotions
will sink
into the paper
and will drain
some color
off you too
evaporation
meant to be your immediate escape
wish it was mine
too

for it is
only a matter of time

If the ink flows, as we, regardless of the surface, and brings forth joy and comfort, then neither have wasted it's color. For what should be a greater purpose, whilst we await the inevitable.
