But What If
What if illegal immigration on a mass scale
Destroys the integrity and culture of the host nation?
What if not controlling visitors from Islamic countries
Results in a terrorist attack of the kind we have not yet seen?
What if the media is so biased it deliberately tells lies because
They are clearly politically motivated and funded?
What if WikiLeaks has absolutely no connection to Russia
And they are the only ones providing the truth?
What if George Soros and other members of the elite
Are funding ANTIFA to destroy the country from within?
What if taking a hard line with North Korea
Is exactly the right thing to do?
What if a new system of health care could provide
Affordable care for everyone in the country?
What if reducing taxation in all brackets
Will revive the country’s economy?
What if global warming is junk science and only there
To fund environmental companies and their CEOs?
What if by putting America first creates millions of jobs
Enough to put Americans back to work?
What if adopting an Australian form of immigration control
The immigrants coming wanted to live the American dream?
What happens if there was no collusion with Russia at all
And it was all an invention of the media and the alt-left?
What if the security services are so corrupt they falsify
Evidence in order to impeach the President?
What if everything you believe about the President
Is false and part of the elites agenda for global power?
Half of America hates him with an unnerving viciousness

Thankfully, none of that is true. Well, except for the part about hating Trump with viciousness. But he is the devil, so hat's a good thing. It's kinda like when Marvel Comics ran a series of "What If" stories back in the 70's. They were these crazy backwards stories about all the Marvel heroes having impossible things happen to them. Fantasy within fantasy... makes a nice story as long as you realize that here in the real world we have o call out the corrupt politicians or we will end up in a George Orwell world. Maybe they are watching us through our tv sets now...

Yeah! But what if???? I am sorry to say that we are already in an Orwellian world - thanks to the unbridled power of the elite. I hear what you say but I am yet to be convinced of any of it :-)
the note prior, though common sense, but demonstrates the lack of understanding prevalent amongst the society where a poet or any other person has to put out disclaimers so as to not offend, invite, incite violence, vitriol thereby reducing the notion of freedom of speech.
even if it is totally against the prevalent societal belief and views, expression should not need justification;
freedom of speech.
the elusive psuedo-phenomenon.
questions well asked.
each question does have an answer, not necessarily acceptable to the questioner.
only critique would be the title- feels, evokes a feeling of suppression. only advise/opinion would be to suggest a choice that is cold and bold.

You make very valid points here, however a lack of understanding is not the case. It is because I have a full understanding that I decided on this kind of disclaimer. 1. Free speech / expression doesn’t exist, it never has 2. Each question has no answer as you say 3. Nobody has a monopoly on the truth 4. I like people to know who I am and what I am 5. The title is meant to signify suppression 6. we are all going to have to live with suppression People who know me know that I do not fear ‘the man’ in my writing. Most know I believe in unfettered free speech I have lost a few Facebook accounts and been warned by Facebook and Youtube a countless number of times. The disclaimer was not put there out of fear, because quite frankly if people get their knickers in a twist I couldn’t care less. I have lost friends on facebook over the stuff that I write – they were not real friends to begin with. I wrote the disclaimer as a mark of respect to those who hate Trump in the hope that they would respect the questions and the need to question. Thank you for your comments and making me think I put some changes in

clarification: lack of understanding, never mentioned on part of the author but of the society.
The disclaimer was never taken as the fear of the poet but the suppression of free speech by the so called free society, if one reads again the initial comment above, it'd be abundantly clear.

it's strange how the written word can be taken by the reader, as they not only interpret the words but also mood and intent. It is very easy to get it wrong. I was feeling pensive and defensive over this write and my responses to you came from that stance :-) it's not an excuse, it's the truth and i apologise to you for over reacting :-)

I was gonna do a reverse version but I thought this one might be more confrontational :-) I have no defined answers to these questions but I am unlikely to believe anyone claiming to hold the truth :-) thank you, you are so very wise :-)

I did have to think long and hard before posting - but, they are just questions - they may be as hard to take as they are hard to answer - but if we don't question we never learn :-) But I know that you get that :-)
