A collection of 'Love is...' Poetry - Sky
Love is in a kiss.
Love is a thing that I miss.
In love with me is all I want you to be,
But that is just a dream.

Thanx.
"When you say it's gonna happen "now",
When exactly do you mean?
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is, gone...
I go about things the wrong way.
I am human and I need to be loved,
Just like everybody else does."

I never said love was going to find you, it might happen. And I never said when it would happen. It might happen one day for you. But we all deserve love and I believe love happens for a reason & when we least expect it.

The reply I gave was lyrics from a song called 'How soon is now?' I chose this song in response to your comment 'Nice ink.'
When I think of 'Ink', I think of tattoo's and there is a band called 't.A.T.u.' who had a one hit wonder a long time ago, so I was going to use the lyrics from that song to respond to your comment, but the lyrics were not a perfect response; then I heard them singing their version of 'How soon is now?' by The Smiths. It's the song from a Television programme called 'Charmed' that I used to watch.
The lyrics I wrote in the first reply show you how my mind thinks of songs when I am looking for a reply to your comment. I use lyrics to reply to people, because I think it adds more to my words in my comments and sometimes songs say what my mind thinks and I hope the lyrics I use show you I do try to give you a real and interesting reply, rather than just saying 'Thank you.'
Peace, love and empathy.

I did have a feeling some of your reply may have been lyrics, as you've used them in previous comments. What confused me was the first line, that you wrote because you used quotation marks. I took that line as a direct message to me. I agree though, it does beat saying, 'Well done, nice poem,' as all are guilty of that sometimes.

Sorry, I didn't notice that the quotation marks around the "Now" would make it look as if the first line was the only part of the quotation.
My bad.
It's just that most of the lyrics I use don't have a quote inside the quote.
My reply was a direct message to you, because when people say it will happen one day, I find it hard to keep the faith sometimes and if someone comments on my poem, I do try to find a lyric to respond to them personally and also show everyone else how I am feeling too. Everybody has their own interpretation and when I reply in lyrics, it does mean something to me, but sometimes the message is not so clear.
I hope we are still cool with each other, because I do not mean anything bad when I reply to comments, words just get miss-interpreted sometimes. Sometimes all it takes is a comma in the wrong place and the whole reply could be interpreted in another way, the same goes for poems.

It is fine, crossed wires from both sides. No worries, like you say a comma etc in the wrong place can change the whole reply. Still cool lol. Keep up the good work.
